Well, as of tonight the Celica runs, the cam break in is done and I've even
driven it back into the garage under it's own power. I have some issues
with a very high idle but I think that's just that my idle valve no longer
has the switch in it and is just a straight piece of tubing. I'm trying to
listen for vacuum leaks but it's way to loud to hear anything since it's
running on open down pipe. The thing sounds really mean, it's
great. After cam break in I gave it a few quick stomps on the gas just to
hear the turbo spool and man is it cool. I'll be towing it to the exhaust
shop tomorrow and hopefully it'll be ready tuesday, after which I'll be
driving it all over hell and back just because I can, and I need to break
it in. If anyone has any hints on tuning procedures I'm all ears as this is my first turbo car and also my first time with a stand alone ecu.

Good to hear you got your car going again. It's always a good feeling. Congrats on putting in the turbo. I've never worked on one before. But they sure are fun to drive. Put some pictures up and gives up some details on what all you did. To change it into a turbo Celica. I love reading any and all stories. About how people made their car go faster.
