Given the low demand, this actually may be the last time these are offered.

Value-wise, the end cost is actually less than several popular
aftermarket BBK's (ie, Honda, etc).
Speaking of the BBK....How's it goin' Jim? Still expecting April sometime?

Thanks for all your work! :D

Nick
Looks more like May.

A few folks joined in the group buy at the last moment.

Most round parts will be done in April. Caliper brackets require
use of their big milling machine, which is always busy.

I'll keep everyone notified via e-mail as I did last time.
Jim,
Thanks for updating the status for BBK and for info on brake lines.
I wish I knew if I was getting my MkII back... grrr.

Does the kit require a proportioning valve, Jim?

When is the cut-off date?

With the 7" wide wheels I initially used, the fronts would start locking
sooner than the rears (rears had stock pads).

8" wide wheels, I doesn't occur.

So, some slight proportioning may be required. I've seen them
for about $40.

The rear BBK will definitely change the dynamics. I'll determine
it's priority once I get them installed.

The cut off date has passed, but I do have some slight flexiblity
with the front BBK.

The rears already have the material on order, which is taking over
a week to arrive here.

Ok -- sounds like I'm SOL since I won't know for quite a while about whether I'm getting the car back. Thanks.
Jim,
What is the deal on the brake lines? I didn't hear much on that and would need them. I have the Technafits for the stock setup but I presume I they are not going to work with the BBK.

Once the rear setup is done, I'll be contacting Technafit about
the custom rear line.

I will get a package price for front, then front/rear setup.
Can't you use an SAE/Metric adapter fitting between stock lines and the Wilwood calipers?

The lines need to be much longer. Besides when it comes to plumbing the fewer joints the better.

In the front just call up Technafit and get a 12" tip to tip -3 (IIRC) line with 1/8" NPT male and M10x1 male inverted flare fittings. Fits perfect up to the existing inside front Technafit line. Total cost was like $25 for 2, and they even made them right this time  . Back lines should be a 1/8" male NPT to M10x1 female IF, need parts to figure out the lengths.
^^^ roger that

Technafit is to send me a one piece front line to try.
Jim,
Are all the kits being built now spoken for? Is the $300 for the fronts or fronts & rears? Thanks..

$310 US by money order, $320 by PayPal

$340US by money order, $351 by PayPal.

I can only fit in front orders as the rears drums might
start machining next week...
so is that 310 for the front and 340 for the rear.......

Yes. End total for fronts with calipers, pads, rotors and lines is still less
than many Honda BBK's.

I only supply the rotor adapter, caliper bracket and bolts.

This allows some an easier time to buy these, then save
up for the rotors, calipers, etc.

JK,

I know I missed out on the rears due to a lack of funds....Way too many folks owe me way too much money...

If anyone does end up backing out. Let me know. Would be nice to have the rears to match the fronts...Now I can afford them, hmmm sounds like the old day late dollar short thing.
