Well as some of you know I picked up a 94 6sp back in March. It's been a dream of mine to own a MKIV since the first time I laid eyes on one back in 93. Some guys want a Lambo and some guys want a Vette ,,, i've ALWAYS wanted a MKIV Supra. They are very rare in Canada and even more so on the East coast. i've only ever seen one in Nfld . That was a NA ,stock and beat to shit edition.
I purchased the car from a fella in Toronto . I then drove the car 1381 miles home
I was extremely lucky to get such good weather in March . It was raining in Toronto but only in Toronto. It was then clear and warm with clean pavement all the way back . It really gave me the time I needed to get familier with the car . I fell in love somewhere in Quebec LOL . This turbo setup is amazing ,, it's a street beast and highway locomotive !! Makes 19psi at 3500rpm and lights up the 315's like they were made of butter. It's a rush compared to the 1J ,,, that gives you time to brace for whats coming ,, This fker just screams off idle and doesn't let up . Hard on tires but very rewarding lol . Anyway since I got the car i've been upgrading and restoring everything. Here's a little peek at some of the work completed and some details on the car ...
The mod list: all parts marked (NEW ) have been added since I purchased the car.

some progress pics .
The roof section between the targa top and hatch had some damage, as did the front bumper
All repaired, painted , cleared and cut and buffed . I had to clear the entire rear 1/4's to blend properly . It came out great so it was worth the extra effort.
rock damage and old 93-96 turn signals
All painted and fresh with 97-98 Turns signals and white leds
The dash panels looked like 16 yr old panels.
All new oem with rings from the UK . The xd-16 and AEM boost gauge can also be seen here . Nice match for lighting ,visibility and seem very accurate when comparing against the MAP ecu ,, I like !
The GP-O Evolutions were chipped and had some light curb rash on a couple . They are discontinued from SSR and very rare so I wanted bring them back to life. I also decided I wanted a change from the silver center so I went with black after much debate . I was thinking about a few different options but Black just made sense for now. I am missing two center caps so I punched out 2 pieces of aluminum and polished them up for now . I have been in contact with a SSR rep who is trying to get me 4 new caps. Hope that happens but until then I like having something there lol .
before
and after
Next was deleting that god damn prop rod that holds up the hood. I must have hit that fker 20 times in the first month . Brackets from a memebr on SF and dampers from Strongarm.
fixed
now for the engine bay ,,,, not too bad but very dirty :eekfacepalm:
all clean and a few things added :naughty:
Dyno ? Boost controller issues forced him to stop here.
16psi on 91oct. I'm currently running 19psi
Well I think that just about covers it for now . I'll update as the upgrades take place ,, cams ,gears, meth , injectors and more boost are on the menu for later this summer .
It was worth the wait !! I've had 26 Toyota's since 1988 :eekfacepalm:
