i was wondering if the insurance company knows what kind of car it by the VIN number ??
yup,
JT2MA##

J= Japan Manu
T= Toyota
2= I forget, complete chassis maybe
MA##= Celica Supra
(Celicas were RA##, ummm, Corrollas were AE##)

etc etc...
They also know what engine came with it..... but that doesn't have to stay the same and they Deffnately don't have to know that you now have a 2.8 or 3 liter turbo.....

yeah, the chick i was talking to/flirting with at RBC insurance (Great company for you canadians BTW) got me to read mine off and shes like "wow, pretty nice car... my ex (a hint??? she was close to my city too!) had one of those, i used to looooo ooooooove riding in it (another hint?? lol)"

she actually knew a bit about the car, asked if the diff was noisy and a couple other things us supra people deal with :)

and yes, i did ask her for dinner, but her hubby woulda probably been angry, lol.
