One of the Ba-zillion projects I have in mind for this summer, is to adapt a 70mm Ford Throttlebody to our cars. Someone (for the life of me I can't remember who) over in Aust. mentioned they had done this with a Ford Commodore TB (I think anyway)...

Does anyone know;
A) if that was the car in fact...
and b) what the part number is for it?

I can order anything by part number, but if I go to a U.S Ford Dealer and say I need a Commodore TB, they look at me like I am high...

I don't know the specific one you're referring to, but Ed_MA61 from the ToyMods forum is in the process of adapting a Mustang Cobra throttle body to his 7M-GE. Might be worth a look:

Oh and BTW, the Commodore is a GM product, not a Ford. That sort of thing could get you beat up in some parts of the world. ;)
