On our motors, water pump access is not a major PITA... Unlike my GF's 92 Camry w/ the 5SFE, where they do recommend changing the WP when you do the timing belt, due to difficult access. Since on the M series motor, there is no set service interval for changing the WP, other than to change it when it finally does take a dump, you should be fine.
