Hey all.

As time creaps up on us, so does the warm weather, and more importantly, Supra meets.
Just a reminder, Not only is Toronto having a big meet in mid August. Our MkII sub group is having one on the second weekend of july. so mark you calanders.
We will be doing up a vid of the meet as well. So if any one wants to take some spare footage we'll be happy to edit it in.
Hope to see every one to at least on of this summers meets.

Look forward to meeting you, Bob. The MK2 guys from CA are a great group!!! We might have to include a tech session on tuning the MAF conversion...I really hope you will be able to run 1 Bar of boost. With that kind of power, you should be able to beat a Z06 if you can hook up.

 Umm... Who's gonna teach that one??

 j/k.. I'd be happy to give a tech session on it, so long as I have it figured out properly by then. From what I have seen and heard, the "canucks" are a great group of guys and I look forward to meeting in person.

I think hooking is gonna be a non-entity for a while, unless something major changes in the budget... rims are just not there for some time unless I come by a smokin deal... Of course, the draw of smokin a vette may just make me break the budget...

Just get ready to consume some real Canadian brew

I am actually hoping to have mine tuned by then, but it might generate some interest from those who are not able to get in on the group buy.

Real Canadian brew, eh Chad?!?! Hmmm...
I'll try to have a nice selection in my beer fridges for any late-night Supra mod sessions in my garage. They seem to happen at every Toronto Meet.... Just ask Damon!

Seriously, I'm really looking forward to meeting some new Mk2 guys at one or both of the meets in Toronto this summer. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing some turbo Mk2's do some runs at the local dragstrip.
I'll even keep some spare tires in my garage in case anyone gets carried away in the burnout competition, like Geoff Mohler a couple years ago, smoking them all the way to the 1/8th mile mark!! I think he drove home on the steel belts.

Yea, Dean, how is that turbo project coming? Maybe you and Mark should coordinate doing both of your cars on the same weekend. I will come over and we can have a good time wrenching and drinking...

Wrenching and drinking... Hmmm... Sounds good to me!!! Better than drinking and wretching...

My turbo project is still in the planning and parts gathering mode, but I'm getting very close to having all the parts. Looks like I'll get the MAF conversion to handle fuel, and may have a RRFPR as backup.

I'll be doing a motor swap on the burgandy car in the next few weeks. I've got 8 (YES, EIGHT!!) local Mk2 guys volunteering to come over to help on that one! Mk2 party! Once I can drive it so I won't go into Supra withdrawal, I'll get to work on the turbo conversion. It will get done this summer, on one of the Supras in my stable. It might end up being the burgandy one that gets the "T" treatment. My girlfriend says it already LOOKS fast, so I might as well make it GO fast! :crazyeye:

Well, time is slippin away. July 12th is creaping up on us. It looks like the meet will start off in oshawa. Meet place will be at the lake or performance improvements parking lot.
Once we have all gathered, Comparisons, tunning, or socializing with other supra enthusiasts will take place :D .
I hear the MAF project may be in some of the cars  .
From here, we will be taking a drive 20 min north to a great bbq eatery. Its a really cool drive with little traffic to slow us down.
This eatery is near a quaint little town where your significant other may like to do A LITTLE shop hopping .
There are great places to get awesome group photos in this area as well. During this time a couple of friends and myself will be compilling video footage to compose a kick a$$ Supra video :p
From here we will be travelling to the docks in Toronto. I've been there before with a bunch of MKIV guys. At this local we can cruise the streets of T.O. And maybe look out for fresh meat (honda's are good for a diet this time of year).
Any other suggestions will be greatly appreaciated.
I look foward to seeing a great deal of Supras at this meet. :!: :usa

Keep us posted, Mark. I am planning on being there with my wife and son. The shopping will definitely appeal to her. What time will things be getting started on the 12th?

It will continue on Saturday July 12 @ 1030 in the morning. We will meet at the lake due south on simcoe street in oshawa.

Dean If we can on that friday. Meet in Hamilton and caravan to Cauga from there.. Let me know so we can post the actual time and place for the guys (and gals) to meet up...

Eager for some fun.... later
