The interior part numbers that you listed.

More than likely, the interior part numbers will be the same, it's the last 2 digits that you will need to look at, those signify the colors. For those that are newbies, here's a review of the color numbers that would be found in the EPC (assuming that you have a US spec car).

01 = Black.
02 = Terra Cotta.
04 = Blue.
12 = Maroon.

I still have a bunch of receipts lying around @ my place, along w/ a few misc parts. Will have to round them up & bring them in, after I return from my trip next week.

BTW, Can one of the Admin's also make this item a Sticky????

Rubber boot for headlight knob

Mazda part number NA01-51-699. I paid $17.96 in Oct. '01. This is the part number for the rubber boot that goes over each of the knobs under the hood that you use to raise the headlights manually. You can't buy them from Toyota - for some reason they come with the control itself.

Just something to think about...

What happens when/if Yahoogroups ever goes away or starts charging some sort of fee for it's use. I mean, all they need to do is so much as hiccup, and all that data is gone -- forever.

However...

I back up the CS.com forum database every Monday morning before I start working. That includes all the members, the forum format & theme and every single post up until the time I do the backup. I may step this up to twice a week, because of how busy the forum gets.

A right side single arm was listed for over $80 from Toyota about 8 years ago. A drivers side double arm was listed at over $120. I know that ONE of the double arms (either the 82/83 arm or the 84/86 arm (YES there are 2 different designs), you cannot seperate the blade assembly from it, the other you can. So one of them is priced approriately. On my next visit to Toyota, I'll have to get the part numbers & prices for these items.

As a reminder to those of you that go to junkyards frequently... If you guys run into any rust free OE wiper arms & blades, SNAG THEM. Restoring them is pretty straight forward, but if they already have heavy amounts of rust on them, then it's going to be pretty challenging. So either restore the good ones & resell them to others who need to replace theirs (I've already sold 2 full sets to Leslie Grover & Nick (FWDsux), or be willing to pay the price for new OE Toyota ones.

Whoops, yeah up here in the PacNW (where it rains allot) they are sort of a big deal. 2 - 3 out of every 10 that I see in the junkyards up here, are in good condition w/ zero rust. The other 6 all have advance rust on them. I keep forgetting that the ones in the lower US don't have as much rust problems, due to the lack of rain & drier climate.

yes and around here i have yet to find any (let alone our cars). so far i have found one of our cars and i have checked probally 6 different junk yards. and the one car that is here, the whipers are gone. i think the previous owner had the same problem, because when i bought the car (7months ago), there were two way oversized whiper arms on it and i stupidly threw them out thinkin that i could find the rite ones. the worst thing is that i have to go to inspection soon, and i don't think it will pass without them. so if anyone knows someone looking to sell a set of them, please let me know,
