Anybody here have access to the Toyota technical service bulletins? If you wouldn't mind printing one for me and faxing it or e-mailing it, PM me.

These technical service bulletins...is Toyota required to take care of anything on the list at no charge, or would that only fall under something that was actually a recall notice?

Just curious...

Hey Mr. Bond, unfortunately Toyota is not required to replace everything on the list. A TSB is not a recall, now on a recall which they usually only do if it is a safety issue they must replace if the recall requires them too. On a tsb the problem can only be covered under warranty if the car is under warranty, the vin is before the production change date and that the technician has verified the problem. It kinda sucks but for example today i replaced an ecm, plugs and injectors on a 2001 camry because the tsb said so and it was within the 3yr/36000mile warranty

most of the time you will never know about them unless you have a problem or have access to mitchell or alldata, or a system like that, and that will be way after they are out, we don't even get them till there are a certain number of problems...its pretty crazy
