Got in my replacements for the broken door pieces. Even though it did suck to receive them damaged, it was handled professionally and promptly. Sanding and painting aren't a big deal to me, but I do understand why som people are upset. I'd rather have a set I finish than no set at all. Thanks Billy.

Sanded and black primered mine tonight. The high build primer included on these mouldings sands VERY easily.
Here's a couple of pictures of mine in black sandable primer, my preferred way of priming under black paint.

Thanks but that was just the primer.
Pro Tip: DO NOT spray Mar-Hyde Semi Gloss when it's humid. You'll get the pleasure of doing it ALL OVER AGAIN, as the paint will blotch and discolor.
I'm currently waiting for the moisture to dry out on these after I painted them and re-sanded 600 grit.
Then I'll try again in an enclosed garage with little ventilation. Should be fine...

Hey guys. I repainted these today in an enclosed garage with little ventilation. It went well. Here are some glamour shots:

That's Mar-Hyde 3811 trim paint. 4-5 coats to cover the 600 grit sanding scratches.
Anyone else finish theirs?

I'm sure that this will finish your car perfectly. It sounds like it was a lot of work, but at least it was available.

You are going to have to show us what it looks like on the car when you are done.

I think that you're leading this group in terms of finish.

Well, I've refrained from making any further comments here for obvious reasons, but I applaud Jeremy for a job well done refinishing these to the degree that they SHOULD have been shipped in. I would be some pissed receiving them in a condition any less than this after that outlay of cash.
Your car is looking good, Jeremy and I'm glad you're finally sliding into home plate!
