finally dynoed! but first a small photoshoot since its running, now i just need to wait for Gatebil festival to drive



been to tuner twice now, first time my haltech ecu fried its cam input making the vvti go crazy.. so i just tossed that and bought maxxeccu, my tuner has helped develop it and know its soo well, he used 3,5 hours from we drove the car in to we drove it out all done, and it runs soooo smoooth, i went out of fuel over 500hp so i have orderd 2x new aeromotive stealth since mine is 5 years one and probly worn due to E85... but im pleased with 500 so we backed it down to 500 at 1.5 bar

maxx ecu, fucking love this. soooooo easy compared to every other ecu i'v dealth with

i was cheap and made my own harness, they also sell harness for JZ with audi coils for like 600dollars

used about 2 weeks and 150 dollars on electrics, i had everytihing else in the shop haha

What did you do for a rear axel? No way thats the awd irs in there.

For those on this continent, thats 469.8lbs/ft of torque! Yeah, in that light as car, more then enough no doubt! It looks amazing, what a crazy build.

Are you guys actually going to have car shows this year? Our lockdown is easing off where I am, but everything is still canceled for the year. This would be the year to focus on a huge build, too bad my huge build is a new shop, not much will happen with the cars.

I was actually in Poland in March for work. Caught the last flight home on the day they shut the borders and closed the airports lol.

yes gatebil told they would close but now its open for drivers only, its usally like 40.000 ppl there i think, this year its less than 200 drivers with a few extra persons each..

lucky, i dont think poland was that infected? i was also in middle europe when corona came, i was on a roadtrip, was just in italy when it shut down... with the corolla haha cannonballed 1300kms in one day on autobahn in germany and danmark to out from the corona shit

no backup, over 5000km trip ,no spares or propper plan.. just a shitty car and 2 mates having a amazing roadtrip


was a good roadtrip anyways, apart from the polizei impouding the corolla for a short wile haha, got it back quick tho, did a burnout in france and had too bad tires for the swiss cunts, also they did not like my spiked front tires i have from norway haha

story on corolla , no rear axle is not stock, its a modception axle for ae86, its really a shortned mitshubisi pajero axle with 2 way lsd and disc brakes for 15" wheels, unbreakable ish
norway has almost as strict rules as germany on cars, inspections every 2 year and you cant really modify your car in any way so this build is just stupid, the car is shit and will not go though next ispection anyways so its going to the wreckers soon anyways.. though i migth have some fun with it before that...

after we got home from the trip the engine got bad (ironicly it got rodkock on 1.april) so i desice to wreck the car... while stripping it a few mates came by and we just ... hmm why not put a big engine and a rear axle in it and send it, it still got plates over the summer..

step 1. cut hole for jz

next sell rear subrafe since its swapped and they always rust got 350 dollars for it lol

quickly mocked up some shit, dont worry its a strong square tube inside going strigth up to that original subframe mounts as seen in previus pic, then sheet metal on top to make it hook onto a bigger aera

then the front, this is where its getting sketchy... stock rack in on the firewall so that had to go.. stock frame rails are wayyy to high for normal subframe and rack.. so here is a mk2 supra subframe and ae86 rack without power steering mocked up, dont worry i made some reinfocements afterward

stock s13 knuckles and brakes up front with s13 coilovers, decent angle

now the inside, its important that u cant see its modifyed, i just have to hope they dont open the hood but its gotta lock stock inside and from the outside.. sooo how to hide this in a corolla
side note: i originally put a BMW 530 gearbox and twin tiltons in but it was too noisy and i didnt get the clutch to work porpperly so now i have a mk4 W58 in there instead

and stock console kinda fits and looks stock, i call that i win,.. u can spot the samsonas shifter but thats gone ..
now i have stock toyota shifter and its not vissible

one of the first testdrives in the middle of april.


soo this is a quick how to ghetto jz swap your corolla in 2 weeks 😂

Ha ha, that is hilarious!

Its pretty much built like a typical over powered drift ae86, solid rear axle, s13 front suspension adapted to toyota bits, and a big crazy high revving turbo monster on top.

You should keep it after its tags expire and run a few drift seasons with it for shits and giggles, too bad you'll have to tow it.

Yeah Poland did alright, they locked down hard as soon as they got their first real outbreak. They saw what was going on in Italy and took no chances.

im runng the maxxecu street, if you want the mdash and shit you would want a better model because mine does not have bluetooth and does not suport mdash :) im running all analog guages and dont need that shit...

sooo gatebil festival, normally its arround 50 000 ppl there this year i thing we where arround 150 drivers and a few crew mambers per driver... huge difference but fun and alot of track time

car is working good but i need to make my own driveshaft, i bougth this for r154 in s chassis but its shaking like hell in 4.th and 5.th gear so i just stuck to 3.rd gear the whole event haha

aasbo tapped my rear quarter panel while borrowing hunters mk4 supra while trying to tandem with me then he came over to say sorry
and he also said my car was cool :cool:

tapped oof my rear ligth like 3 times and my bumper 2 times...


hehe

now its just a wait till all the photograpers post their stuff and hope they got a few good photos of me

Whoa very cool!

Looks like your car is working really good! The weight balance and IRS seem to be working out, thats very encouraging.

You sure your driveshaft doesn't just need to be rebalanced? Its easy for DS shops to screw up the balance if their machine is out, or they suck at their job. But its not uncommon for balanced drive shafts to throw a weight too if a weld didn't penetrate enough. I've seen Supras throw them before on the dyno.

Thats too bad about the damage. Maybe you could use a more robust rebar setup to protect your fuel cell better.

Also you need to promote your thread on this board more, people still don't seem to be aware of it. Post a pic and link in the "Pic of the day"/"Things I did to my Supra today" threads.

i just bougth a used s13 to r154 axle, since it was the rigth length, but when i got it it looked rough, just put in in an yeah its shaking, but thats what a first test is for!
car feels really good i just need more tire in the rear, i was running 205 and 195 the whole weekend...
i think the rear is strong enough i just need more tailligths haha its meant to be weak outside the big bars
new youtube video from one of the media crew of gatebil, he asked for a ridealong but it was in the start of the festival so did not really have that many hours in the seat yeat when he was riding along.. and as you hear i need to balance the axle and use more than 3.rd gear haha, limiter all weekend
