UPDATE: Follow the link again please, due to Slips concerns and experince I've take some precautions...

The title about says it all, go here for all the info...

http://pub25.ezboard.com/fdorikazefrm11.showMessage?topicID=107.topic

Like I said in that link, this is the little meet. In addition to the big meet I'm doing for the DoriKaze group in August, I'm going to do a big, freakin huge all generation Supra meet here in August as well, to be on Aug 3rd (mark your calanders now!). Go carts, bbq, all that good stuff will be done then. If your somewhere far away (like Washington, not Chilliwack  ) and you have to choose, come for the August meet. But all you local mk2 owners! I want to see you guys out here, this "little" meet will have a nice turnout. This is basiclly a big excuss to meet you all in person so we're all good chums by the time the August meet rolls around, come out one and all! I know a whole bunch of mk2 owners in town who are not on this board, so there will definatly be more then the 4 to 7 active mk2 owners on this board at the meet. There will be a ton of Corolla GTS's too, but thats cool, they're like mini mk2 supras  (don't tell them I said that :D ). See you guys there!

Out of towners (WA, OR, interior guys, etc): If any of you do wish to make the trek for this humble meet, say so here and I will post explicit directions on how to get to this crazy BCIT place and Cypress. I may even provide you with an escort (which I will be doing for sure for the one in August if the location is tricky to get at).

Seamus,

Sunday, August 3rd "might" work better for me for the big all Supra meet. Don't think I can do Saturday the 2nd. Jay Balducci (& wife Beth) will be up here in the PacNW area that week & he's hoping to use Saturday the 2nd as a possible "get together" day w/ the local PacNW Seattle guys, before he & Beth fly home on Sunday. Plus myself & my GF have a wedding to attend later Saturday evening.

Or can you possibly move it to the weekend of the 16th/17th, or after that??? Weekend of the 8th - 10th is out for obvious reasons (Keith Hart has that weekend reserved for the PacNW Nationals).

The sunday it is. I only left the possibility of the saturday in case there were a couple people who could only do the saturday. I much prefer meets on sunday so that we all have the saturday to prep the cars and many work Saturdays.

Actually I've been talking to Jay about his little visit and that weekend was partially chosen because I knew he'd be in town. He said he might make the meet. Jay if your reading this, let us know if you can make it. I can pick you up that day and ferry you around if you like.

As for another weekend, not doable. Literaly, ever single weekend of mine from today to the end of August is booked. Planning car meets this summer has been insane!

Seamus,

If Sunday is a go, let Keith Hart know, so that he can add it to the PacNW calendar/schedule!!!! You never know who else might pop up from Washington, or Oregon.

I don't think Chris is coming for this one but the sounds like hes in for the big Aug 3rd all generational meet. Glad your coming Dale! We should have quite a turnout, I've had a bunch of others not on the list confirm that they're coming too.

just a note... at the top of cypress - you WILL have to pay, and they WILL kick you out of people start dicking around, burnouts and the like. I was up there in early june for the annual NWN bbq (northwestnissans.com - great guys), and they had to pay for permission to use the parking lot for the meet. Also note that whiel we were there, about 10 or 20 miata's showed up for a meet, and were promptly told to leave because they were doing donuts and acting like idiots.

also, because i took the 323, i parked away from the nissans (didn't want to tarnish their looks) and almost got ticketed for not being with NWN. luckily i caught the guy in time. basically - you WILL get ticketed if you don't pay.

however, you can't really beat the scenery. i'll try and make it up, but only if there's a lot of people. $32 + gas + oil is a lot for me right now.

i saw a silver mk2 while i was sitting on the side of highway 91 just before the alex fraser bridge on the richmond side. the 323 ran out of gas 600 feet short of the offramp. fucking bastard.

anyways, it was a really clean P-type, big asian guy in the passenger seat. there's also a VERY VERY rusted out white p-type that parks on southwest marine drive by UBC every once in a while. i think he's with the construction company. maybe i should start leaving notes on mkII's i see.

The silver one was likely Henry's car, 85mk2 on this board I think is his user name. Hes been invited to the meet, hopefully he shows up. He has a 7mge under the hood, only mk2 I've heard of with one.
