I wanted to check how early production my car is. Does anyone know if you can find out?
Thanks.

If you use the search feature, you should be able to find the thread with the Oldest and Youngest known mk2s around. Its been bumped a few times lately so it should be easy to find.

So I’ve got to be the dumb Dora and ask the question! This table shows the total number of Celica Supras ever built at the end of the month. To get the number produced in a specific month you subtract the number from the previous month...correct🤔

so in September 1982 there were 3651-1=3650 produced?

sigh...

Table was made by Helen and Matti decades ago, I'm sure it's a rough outline but most of the cars I've seen follow it pretty well. And from my research on Carfax, most of the early 82 cars did not come to the US... Most likely Japan got the brunt of those

I'm even more confused now lol. How does this chart work??
AUG 1981 starts with car 000001 and ends with 003650, and so on... August is the first month for the next model year

Yes, the last 6 digits denotes your car's number off of the production line
