What year is it? I have an 82, and there are a few sensors on the thermo housing with vac. lines, but none RIGHT by it.

its a ported Vacuum Switch. I don't know exactly what it does but I do know its about $50 for a new one from Toyota and no other parts stores I've called have them. they are pretty fragile and break alot. (broke 2 rebuilding my friends motor).
