Two things:

1. What is the purpose of the air vents in the door jamb? (near the bottom rear)

2. What is the little flipper-like plastic piece that is above it? And what does it do???

1. Vent for the quarter panel. Supposedly to make the door easier to close.

2. It flips a lever in the seatbelt tensioner
