Is there a site that has rims for the MKII? I Love the Black Mesh with the "Lip'age Chris!!!!!!!!!!!
The thread you're in now, is basically it!!!! In other words..... All of these different manufactures who are willing to work with our bolt patterns & the offsets needed for the P-Type body. Unless the posting lists that this certain wheel, or wheel model is discontinued, these are your options.

Yours too Zank!!!
Also please get familiar with the Edit button on the lower right.... Thanks.

Here's what i run on my 84P.
Circle Racing Wheels
16x8 0 offset
Bought them from Don L on these forums. I'm currently running 225/50R16 BFG g-Force Sports. I can fit 245 but i bought the BFGs for a good price.

They are collars that fit on the center hub boss on top of the rotor (which also locates the rotor to center) and fits snug into the center bore of the rim. The hub has a 50.2mm diameter and your rim might be 65-78mm. It ensures the rim is sitting directly at the center of rotation so there is no vibration.

Hey Mark,

they look pretty good, i would be keen on offset and some pics from infront/behind the car to see how far they stick out.
Trying to work out what will work for my l type.
Cheers

I really like those performance challenger rims. I have never seen something like those over here, and too bad that shipping would kill if I got someone to find me a set out of the states.

Why would you go 16" in the front? Understeer. 17x7.5 +20 should fit fine on our cars. Even the Ltype. I heard 17x9 +0 are in the works. Then you can use 17x8.5 +4 on the front.

if thats true i would use the 17x8.5 +4 up front, assuming it clears my coilovers. gonna do the coilovers on my 86 mk2 same way i did them on my 84.

So finally I got around to posting them here. Thanks to Greg G for the awesome shots! These are the Sportmax 002 in 16"x8" 0-offset all round. I used a 16mm spacer on the rear (although I will be trimming 1-2mm off in the spring as it makes contact with the flare) along with new longer studs. They are actually quite easy to replace, although because I couldn't find a metric thread stud with the correct knurl diameter, I now have metric front lugs and imperial rear lugs. Just another reason to not let anyone else work on my car - putting the wrong lugs on either end of the car would be.... bad. The fronts were a direct bolt on, using hubcentric rings to keep the wheel dead centered on the hub. I think the zero offset on the front is actually a bit much now that I can see a head on view of the car - they appear to not be attached to the car as the entire flare is utilized. Ideally, I'd prefer a +10 offset on the front but beggars can't be choosey, right?
