Hey

I was wondering... Today when I was out crusing with a friend, looking at some girls etc :D , I saw this corolla which had a 1.6 twincam with modded cams etc - it was wild.. .I barely could keep up with it.. anyway... I noticed that when I hit 4-4500 rpm, it feels like I have a power loss of somekind - specially in 2nd and 3rd. How come? Im running 6 PSI on the CT26 and with FPR + adjustable RRFPR.

Is it the CT26 which cant keep up at that rpm, or am I short on fuel (running lean) ? theres no knocking... nothing I can hear at least...

you might be leaning out or the timing is not right

Install a wideband O2 sensor so that you know what the combustion is doing.... and check your timing or might as well buy a BTM so that at least lessen the cause of detonation....

Its worth paying a few dollars than blowing up an engine....

I just thought that, if I was leaning out, then it at least should give me some knocking sound.... but it doesnt.

My timing is set to 10 BTDC.

hmm okay ... I'll stay below 4000 rpm's for now... and I have it dynoed in a few months -- now I first has to rebuild my brakes......
