need some places to get this stuff....

are they the same n/a and turbo or are they different....?

Don't think they are the same, as far as the ignitor pack. Check w/ a Toyota dealer???? On the motor side, the 7MGTE uses the coil pack setup, while the 7MGE uses a distributor.

The AFM's are NOT the same!!! The 7MGE uses the flapper door design, while the 7MGTE uses the Karman Votex screen. And the internal electronics are different, which is also 1 reason why a 7MGTE Karman Vortex AFM will not work on our 5MGE's.

what about the coil are they the same ....

i think the coil pack will come with the jdm motor...hopefully....

the swap is a definate go go go go!!!!
i got the radiator, fuel tank,r154 tranny , new centerforce cluch/throwout bearing today

getting the cpu on monday....

now all i need is the afm (want to get the lexus afm now but can't find out where to get it....) motor(getting this last), coil crap, walbro pump, 550cc injectors (need these for a good price any help would be thankful) and last and hardest to find is a whole engine wiring harness for the motor

Ignition systems are vastly different between 7mGE and 7mGTEs. GTEs have 3 individual coils that run a waste spark distributeless setup and GEs use a system with a single coil and distributor like a 5M has.
