I've got an 81 or 82 parts car. There is no visible exterior antenna for the radio.....its not missing its just not there.... is it hidden somewhere in the body???

if its a mk2 then its connected to the window somehow, well thats what Iv read in the past. some early mk2s didnt have an antenna

From what I've read the early MKII's had it in the glass of the front windshield. You should be able to see it.

It is built into the front windshield of 1982 model year Mk2's.

There are two little black wires running straight up the middle of the windshield and then one goes each way along the top, forming a T shaped antenna. You can see them if you look real closely.

Yea thats it......Guess I'm going back to a regular antenna in my 85.

If you pull the cowl cover, you can see the plug for it. A wire runs from the bottom of the windshild and plugs into a receptacle under the cowl cover. I like it! It's stealth

I like the Idea too...but to have to change a windshield to get it.......thinking.........thinking.........thinking........NOPE.
