ah it would have to be an 82 to qualify for that honor. Hey Aaron, you reading this? Check yours, I think it was a pretty early one. I have an 86 though, we should compare who has the newest and oldest.
I do believe mine was in november of 81.... The benifit of this is that my emblems on the hood and the B pillar just say SUPRA not CELICA SUPRA... not that that's a bad thing, it just gives it a little difference when compared.
Open your drivers door & you'll find the build plate on it. "Assuming" that the door has not been swapped out. Stamped onto the plate, will be a month abbrev & the year (example: Sept 80, Nov 84, etc).
Some of the early August 81 - January 82 MKII's have the Supra nosebadge/B-pillar badging on them, others will have the Celica Supra badging. They seemed to be pretty random. And treat those Supra badges like Gold, they are not that easy to find!!!!
your acually talking here on the firewall production plate i think i posted mine on my website under my 82. cant remeber the year right now i know i have the plate some where in my room.. dont worry i replaced the doors and didnt want the vin's to be different

Had one swear to me his car was all original and original paint (it was an 83 with 84+ taillights, and the "banner" supra badge)
Others are asking near 10k...
Our super old Millermatic we keep in the shed (not enclosed or climate controlled) bit it today, most likely a control board issue, so we're looking to replace the welder.
I've actually heard decent things about Everlast, which is surpising to me, so we're looking at a Millermatic 211 or an...
The wire wheel is good at removing rust and aggressively removing weld splatter. I have wire wheels for my drill motors. For a more gentile surface finish, bolt on a 3M Scotch-Brite wheel. It's REALLY good and cleaning and polishing metal of all types. My bench grinder has 1/2 " shaft.
Hi I've got a 83' MKii and I'm wanting to replace the original speakers as they no longer sound that good. I've already opened the necessary panels and know the sizes. I'm just looking for speaker replacement recommendations as I'm not too knowledgeable about audio equipment and want a way...
