my pm's keep going into my outbox sometimes when i send them instead of being sent. Anyone have any ideas why?

Actually that's by design...I'll explain.

The PM function places your outgoing message into your Outbox until the person you're sending your message to comes online and logs into the forum.

Once the recipient logs in...the message is delivered. It leaves your Outbox and becomes a Sent item.

ok...i feel like an idiot now. Well, thanks for clearing that up, cause somethimes they would be there for 2+ days, i guess that's cause they didn't log on...Thanks.

No no...

George, it's a valid question - no big deal. Because the PM function doesn't act like email does, the message doesn't really "leave" anywhere and sit in another location (which would give the impression that it had been "sent").

Instead it goes into your Outbox until the recipient logs on and reads the message.

I don't believe so, but then again I've never tried it. You might try sending a message to multiple recipients (seperated by either a comma or a semi-colon and see what happens).

To the best of my knowledge, it's not possible to send one PM to more than one person.
