Hey All,

My MA61 windscreen fogs up after a heavy downpour when I was driving along... Does this mean that I have a leak under the black weather strip under the windscreen wipers or does it mean something a little more worse? There is no water leak that I know of (besides the rear tailgate  ) inside the car.

Does anyone have a clue what it could be?

Cheers.

The heater has a recirculation mode try changing from one to the other(you may be recirculating moist air) But the leaking weather strip is a good bet. Mine also did this but some RTV was an OK "temporary" solution

Run the A/C compressor. It will dehunidify the air. Not sure if these cars autoengage the A/C compressor in defrost setting.

You could also have a leaking heater core. You can usually taste that film on the windows.

Normally you get a wet spot on the pass footwell carpet when the core is leaking. You can also usually smell the antifreeze (kind of a sweet smell). Keep track of your coolant to see if you are losing any, that a pretty good sign.
