ive got to ask the forum a favor:
can anyone photoshop some Z3 grills/gills on the fenders of a black P type??

i tried to Photoshop it myself and messed up horribly, but i really want to see what it could look like as i can get some grills moulded in for a very good price, and on a few similar cars that ive seen with the mod, it looked really clean, and suited the angular look.

Rice or not...I'd love to see what it would potentially look like. If done properly I'm sure it would be functional too at venting hot air out of the engine bay...maybe :roll:

even if you can put Z3 gills on a mk2 wouldnt it take some major modding to put them in on a mk2

It wouldn't take too much work to get them functional. Just a matter of cutting a duct into the inner fenderwell. And while I agree that there would be cooling benefits for the underhood temps... I think I would have to agree with the Ricey-look opinion. But, then again, its not my car, so you can do whatever you like.

I think you might have more luck on Supraforums in the Photoshop forum they have there.

well, i saw it done on a merc cougar, and a 280z, and they both looked great, and i saw a PS on a 240sx, which also looked good.

im gonna get my spare parts car's fender punched with Z3s and see what it looks like when mounted.

if i can get it done soon, ill take lots of pics for you folks

I thought about doing this, I thought the side "gills" from an Aston Martin wouldn't look too cheesy and would be quite classy with an alloy bar accross them.
