It wouldn't take too much work to get them functional. Just a matter of cutting a duct into the inner fenderwell. And while I agree that there would be cooling benefits for the underhood temps... I think I would have to agree with the Ricey-look opinion. But, then again, its not my car, so you can do whatever you like.
