Looks like gray leather to me in the photo above.
I swapped a complete black leather interior into one of my '85s about thirty years ago from a wreck. It's still in great shape. I thought it was from an '82 but it may have been an '83. I researched it at that time and found that the black leather interior was available one year only, but I can't recall anymore whether it was '82 or '83. But it's one of the two.
