Thanks guys! Supergregotti that drawing will be very helpful thanks a ton!

Celipra--do you have a better/cheaper way to patch a crumpled/ripped/smashed hole in plastic? If so I'm all ears.

Thanks again guys!

I had a card deck sized hole in the center of my bumper skin and a small tear in each bottom corner. I picked up a flexible bumper repair kit from an autoparts store and did it myself. Kit was a 2 part mix and a piece of mesh patch material.

For cracks, smear the glue on the edges and push the parts back into place. Then smear the glue all over the back of the cracked area and push the mesh into it to strengthen it. I also smeared it over the front of the crack to fill it in.

For holes, apply glue to back of skin around the hole and apply mesh, then fill the hole up to level with the skin.

Let dry and sand like regular body work, then apply flexible primer and paint it. Mine turned out like new and cost about $25 total, without the cost of paint.
