im in on that group buy also. I'm thinkin of piggybacking with the stock ma61 comp so I can keep my digital speedo/tacho.

Except the stock ecu has nothing to do with either the tacho or the speedo.

The dash has NOTHING to do with the ecu (except the CEL)

The speedo runs directly off the gearbox.
The tacho runs directly off the ignitor.
The temp guage runs directly off the temp guage sender.
The fuel guage runs directly off the fuel tank sender.
The oil light runs directly off the oil pressure switch.


Now if you are talking about the trip computer on the digital gauges (not sure if US got them, or just CDN?), then you can forget about that ever working again, unless you want to build a box to convert 1UZ signals into what its expecting.
