Have anyone tested something like that.

I would watch out, Some of these had a seperate nav box in the back of the car. Looks like a cd changer it holds the nav discs and computer. The radios usualy wont power without it and also if it the radio came in a JBL equipped car ther is no amplifier in the head unit. There is no video input on the unit so I would say you cant use it without major modification.

Can the seller also get physical dimensions for you??? Not everything always fits well in our radio openings.

I can tell you on an 85 it will go in and hit part of the AC behind the stereo all the way in the bake. Its a gold cover with part of the AC mechanism behind it. You will be about 3/8 of an inch front the mounting bracket bolting into the holes and the face plate will stick out about the same amount from the radio surround.
