Hey guys, I want to replace my rack and pinion (the whole unit) and I dont know if the 85' rack and pinion will work for an 83. Does anyone know, id really appreciate it.

Yes, it will work if also from a Supra. Saw your other thread; just replace the inner tie rod if the rack isn't leaking or loose up and down. You also can't get brand-new steering racks anymore, only rebuilds. Be sure to use auto trans fluid in the steering system, NOT power steering fluid. Good luck!
